Abstract: Since 2003, qualified customers have obtained indemnification from HP against legal action from SCO. HP continues to extend this offer to protect and empower customers to deploy Linux and open source technology in production with less risk and distraction.

Effective October 1st, 2003, HP will offer to indemnify enterprises against lawsuits from SCO relating to the SCO claims of copyright and other intellectual property infringements within Linux.
